Adventure Overview
Kedarkantha is a classic winter trek. The trek provides a great opportunity for trekkers to see the scenic beauty and experience the life of remote villages of Garhwal Himalayas. The summit stands at 12,500 feet offering a spectacular 360-degree view of famous Himalayan peaks.
Day 1 (D1)
Drive from Dehradun to Sankri (220 km, 8-10 hours)
Drive through beautiful scenic routes of Mussoorie, Yamuna Bridge, and Netwar. Overnight stay at a homestay in Sankri.

Day 2 (D2)
Trek from Sankri to Juda-ka-Talab (4 km, 3-4 hours)
Walk through dense pine forests and witness beautiful snow trails. Camp overnight near the frozen Juda-ka-Talab lake.

Day 3 (D3)
Trek from Juda-ka-Talab to Kedarkantha Base (4 km, 3 hours)
Gradual ascent through beautiful meadows with stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Camp overnight in tents.

Day 4 (D4)
Summit Day: Basecamp to Kedarkantha Peak and back to Hargaon (6 km, 6-7 hours)
Steep climb to the summit at 12,500 ft. Witness a glorious 360-degree sunrise over the Himalayas, then descend to Hargaon camp.

Day 5 (D5)
Descend from Hargaon to Sankri (6 km, 4 hours)
Descend through open clearings and pine forests. Stay overnight in Sankri.

Day 6 (D6)
Drive from Sankri to Dehradun (220 km, 8 hours)
Drive back to Dehradun, arriving by evening.
